Our annual Christmas Gifting Wrapping Day this weekend brought together over 25 incredible volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to help us wrap over 700 gifts for those in need this Christmas. Each one was carefully prepared to bring a little extra joy to 120 families in need of support and 30 from the homeless unit in East Ham.
What Went Into the Gifts
Each gift was thoughtfully put together to ensure it could make a real difference:
Gloves, hats, socks, and underwear to keep people warm during the cold months.
Food Hampers, filled with essential groceries and festive treats to make Christmas special.
Toys and books to bring smiles to children’s faces and give them something to treasure.
Care packages containing toiletries such as deodorant, shower gels, lotions, toothpaste, shampoo, and conditioner to provide comfort and dignity.
The Heart of the Day: Our Volunteers
The success of the day wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our amazing volunteers. From organising and preparing to wrapping and packing, each volunteer played an amazing role. Their commitment, energy, and willingness to help embodied the true spirit of the season.
