This privacy notice tells you what to expect Start Young UK (referred to as the Charity, "we", "us" or "our" in this privacy notice) to do with the following personal information about you: images, videos, names, contact details and professional details (such as job title).

We obtain personal information directly from you. In some instances, photos or videos may be taken by our photographers or videographers. Photos may also be captured in photo booths provided at our events, either by you or by others using the booth.
We collect and use your personal information on the basis of legitimate interest for:

For marketing purposes, including raising awareness about the Charity, our events, upcoming projects, and the work we do. This may include posting photos and videos on our social media channels and website

Please note photo or video editing may be required by the Charity or authorised personnel for quality or technical purposes.
2. Your Rights
You have the right to ask us:

To delete your personal information. Once you let us know, we will stop using your personal data in future materials. However, some people may still be able to see, for example, images from earlier uses/publications already in circulation and publicly available (on which we have no control) and the continued use by our partners.
3. How Long We Keep Your Information
We will keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. In some circumstances, we will anonymise your personal data (so it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes, in which case we may use this information indefinitely.
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal information from being accidentally lost, used, accessed in an unauthorised way, altered, or disclosed.

Images or Videos on social media sites and websites may be viewed throughout the world and not just in the United Kingdom, and some overseas countries may not provide the same level of protection to the rights of individuals as EU/UK legislation provides.
